• Apogee – highest orbital point around Earth

• ATB – Apogee Trim Burn
• ATP – Authorization to Proceed
• Attitude – orientation of the spacecraft (measured as Yaw / Pitch / Roll)
• AVATAR – A Virtual Astronaut Tissue Analog Response (medical experiment)
• BME – Biomedical officer
• BOOSTER – Booster systems officer
• BPC – Boost Protective Cover
• Burn – rocket engine firing
• CAPCOM – Capsule Communicator
